Elephant Bookmark

An integral part of Indian culture for centuries, the elephant is known as the carrier - or vahana - of Indra, the King of the Gods and is prominently featured in stories of Buddha. Each bookmark measures 3.25" x 2.5" - (6.25" including tassel) and is in a copper finish metal with cut out details.  A brown tassel for outside the book is attached at the tail.

The trunk is up for the traditional symbol of good luck.  Packaged in a clear-topped box with an ivory and earth toned repeating henna design base and background.  Wrapped with a decorative brown and gold band including a "For You" message
