Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website at www.dottydreams.co.uk. By accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Complaints
Any complaint will be dealt with immediately upon receipt. We will endeavour to resolve complaints within 1 working day.
General
Any contract between us will be deemed to be concluded in England, and will be governed by English Law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Copyright
Copyright in the cards, products and website is owned by Dotty Dreams and may not be copied or reproduced by any means.
The Cards
Each card is individually handmade to order, and therefore you should anticipate some variation on each design when comparing a card image on screen to the card you receive.
All card sizes quoted are approximate.
Cancellation
You may cancel any orders up until fulfillment has taken place. is carried out as soon as possible following receipt of your order. If you wish to cancel an order please call us without delay via email at sally@dottydreams.co.uk
Delivery
Our aim is to get your cards to you within four working days. However in peak times please allow seven working days for delivery.
For other items such favours and wedding items please allow up to twenty eight days for delivery. We make every effort to get your order to you much quicker than this, however many of our items are shiped from the USA. We will ensure you are kept informed of delivery times.
We use Royal Mail First Class Post for UK deliveries and they aim to deliver the next working day.
Every effort is made to ensure that your order arrives with you in good condition and on time. However, we cannot be held responsible for items that are lost, delayed or damaged as they pass through the postal system.
We cannot be held responsible for any failure or delay in delivery due to circumstances beyond our control including failure of suppliers or partners.
Wedding Stationery
Production of your Order
As each item in your order is individually hand crafted slight variations may occur. Please be aware that although we try to ensure colour charts are as true as possible limitations of computer screens and printers can mean a variation in shade. Please order samples of your chosen design to ensure you are happy with the final product. We can also supply samples of up to threee different colour swatches when you order a sample product.
Upon receipt of your order form and initial deposit, proofs will be sent for your approval. Only once we are in receipt of an agreed and signed proof can work on your order commence.
Proof reading is the responsibility of the client and Dotty Designs cannot be held responsible for any errors found after the proofs have been agreed and signed.
Dotty Designs cannot be held responsible for obtaining copyright permission for the use of hymns in the Order of Service. This is for the client's discretion.
Dotty Designs cannot be held responsible for any discontinuation of any materials used in the production of your order. In the case of this situation arising we will try to source as close a match as possible and liaise with the client accordingly.
A minimum of 6 weeks is required from payment of final balance to complete the order. If an order is required in less than six weeks please contact us to agree timescales.
Payment
A 50% deposit is required upon placement of an order and before work can commence.
The balance payment will become due on return of approved proofs and before the final delivery or your order.
The order will not be dispatched until full and final payment is received.
No refund or exchange can be given unless goods are faulty. You statutory rights are not affected.
Cancellation
If an order is cancelled before proofs have been submitted for approval then we shall retain 50% of the deposit and refund you 50%
If an order is cancelled after proofs have been submitted then we shall retain the full deposit paid.
If an order is cancelled once full production of your order has commenced or been completed then we shall retain the deposit and final payment
