Ordering 

How do I place an order? 

Browse through our large selection of  goods and simply add them to your shopping basket.   Once you have finished shopping,  proceed to the checkout icon and complete your delivery details.   Please select your preferred method of payment.  If paying by cheque, once your cheque has cleared the goods will be sent out, this normally adds a further three days to a delivery date.  If you would prefer to fill in an order form and post it to us together with your cheque you can find an order form here.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order without explanation at any time. 

You will be emailed your order confirmation immediately upon placing your order. Please ensure your email address has been entered correctly and that your email account is not treating our email as SPAM. If you have not received this within 24 hours, please contact us. The payment will be debited from your account on the day your order is placed.

Are online transactions secure?

Shopping with Dotty Dreams is completely secure.  We use SSL (Secure Sockets Layers) encryption technologies, the online industry standard, to ensure that your payment card and personal information cannot be intercepted during the ordering process.

What payment methods do you accept? 

We are happy to accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express through Paypal. Paypal is a secure online payment processor. For more information, visit Paypal.com.

You can also pay with your PayPal account. If you choose this payment method you will be redirected to PayPal at the end of the order process to complete your payment. Paypal is a secure online payment processor that accepts all major credit cards.


We also accept payment through Google Checkout.

 
Payment by cheque is acepted and you should choose this option at check out.  Your order will not be processed until your payment has been received and has been cleared . This may delay your shipment.  No COD orders will be accepted.

We are happy to accept international orders but we do not currently have options for international postage.  If you would like a quote please do not hesitate to contact us quoting your location and items you would like to order.

We are currently working on a weight based system of postage costs until this is ready please be assured that we will look at all postage costs charged and refund excessive postage charges if necessary.

When will my order be delivered?

You should allow approximately 2 weeks for delivery of your order.  We make every effort to deliver as quickly as possible but many of our items come from as far afield as Canada and the USA and need to be ordered for you.  As soon as the items are received by us they are dispatched to you the same day.


If the delivery time for a product is in excess of the 2 weeks stated above this information can be found on the individual product page.

 

You should allow 28 days for delivery of all personalised products.

  

Where multiple products are ordered with differing dispatch times, your complete order will be dispatched when all products are available, i.e. the latest dispatch time advised. If you would like your ordered products to be sent out separately please contact us here. Please note additional delivery costs will apply. If you require a rush order and wish to check stock levels before you order, please contact us.

 

Please note that this lead time does not include delivery transit time which is usually 1 – 3 days within mainland UK. We cannot guarantee any delivery date due to any delays that are out of our control.

What delivery method do you use?

All orders are delivered by Royal Mail 1st Class.


Cancellations/Returns

You can cancel your order at any time up until seven working days from the day after you have received your order. Please note this does not apply to Personalised, Edible or Sale items.

To cancel your order please notify us of your return by email within seven working days. Please make sure that you inform us of the order number, product description, and reason for return and whether you require a replacement or refund. All orders must be sent back in the in the same condition as it was supplied within 10 days from the date you received your order. Please note your full order amount will be refunded to you and processed to your payment card within 30 days.  Postage costs cannot be refunded to you.

Please note that returns must be authorised.  Please email us for authorisation and then send back items to us at Dotty Dreams, 88 Chesford Road, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU2 8DR within 10 days from the date of dispatch, unused, in original packaging and, in a resellable condition for an exchange or full refund. We reserve the right to reject any returns and exchanges that do not meet these conditions. All shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.     If items are not returned to us within the 10 day returns period we will not accept these goods, this includes faulty goods.

Your full order amount will be refunded to you within 30 days. The return postage cost cannot be refunded to you.

Please use recorded delivery in order to minimise the risk of the refunded item not being returned safely and for your own proof of delivery, as we cannot take responsibility for items lost in transit.

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns or cancellations of personalised items whereby there are no errors in relation to this item.  We also cannot accept the return of any confectionery product where this product has been opened or tampered with.   We cannot accept return of any bath products which have been opened or tampered with.

Do you provide printed brochures?

We do not produce a printed brochure/catalogue. We feature all of our products on our website.
